The most recent addition to MIT's facilities is an auxiliary recreational facility, the Alumni Pool and Wang Fitness Center. The Wang Center compliments the Zesiger Center's programming potential, while Alumni Pool reopened in 2004 after an extensive renovation to give the Tech community a centrally-located fitness and aquatic center.

Alumni Pool Features:

• 6 lane, 25 yard lap pool, 9 to 13 feet deep
• 15 yard shallow teaching pool, 3.5 to 4.5 feet deep
• Kick boards, pull buoys, fins, aqua jog belt and tot-dock available for use
• Locker room facilities, including day lockers
• Towel Service

Wang Fitness Center Features:

• Over 5,000 square foot fitness center
• 1,500 square foot Group Exercise Studio with suspension flooring and mirrored walls
• 27 pieces of cardiovascular equipment
• 13 Bike Spin Dome
• Various free weights and machine weights, BOSUs, Exercise and balance balls, medicine balls and stretching mats
• Locker room facilities, including day lockers
• Towel Service

• East Annex lot (East of the Stata Center) – free after 3pm

**Youth Access:

• Alumni Pool – Adult supervision is required for children 17 and younger in the same pool activity area
• Wang Fitness Center – A teen aged 13 or older who would like to use the facilities must have participated in the Youth Fitness Program and been approved by the Fitness Coordinator. Adult supervision is required for children ages 13-17 in the same activity area.
