If you are new to squash or interested in improving your skills, we offer lessons that introduce you to the game, emphasize rules of the game and challenge you to improve your squash and fitness level. For more experienced players, we offer intermediate and advanced lessons that focus on your fitness, squash strategies, game condition, and drill and match preparation. Improve your squash skills solo or with a partner. We offer individual and partner one-hour lessons led by experienced coaches. Register today at the main member services desk of the Alumni/Wang or Zesiger Center. (Partner pricing is per person.)
Learning Squash: the Fundamentals (Zesiger Center, 3rd floor squash courts)
What can you really expect of a game that shares its name with a salad ingredient? One of the best possible workouts in the least time, exercise you can do year-round, a social outlet and a terrific de-stressor. By the end of our hands-on program of games, handouts, and exercises, you will be technical, strategic, and fit. Squash is a game that people get addicted to and end up playing their entire lives. See you on the courts! Participants must provide their own racquet.
Intermediate Squash (Zesiger Center, 3rd floor squash courts)
Participants learn with a group of the appropriate skill level. Intermediate and advanced players study strategy, fitness and participate in advanced drilling. Match play will be incorporated at the end of each 1 hour session. Participants must supply their own racquet.

Seth has taught the sport of squash for over 15 years. In addition to coaching at various prep schools in New York and New England, Seth's recent tenures have included the Harvard Club of Boston and now MIT. Committed to translating the complexities of stroke mechanics, footwork and tactical execution into concise and systematic language, Seth's teaching strives to be broadly accessible and immediately rewarding to all those who endeavor to improve their game.
