The DAPER Fitness Department is happy to introduce "Fitness to Go" a program where fitness classes will come to you. Whether it's your department office, residential housing space, or sport's team practice, classes such as Yoga, Kickboxing, Zumba and Pilates can be at your front door. All classes are taught by certified group exercise instructors and/or personal trainers

Power Yoga- Experience the dynamic flow and challenge of this class, while still getting the mind/body benefits of Yoga. Specifically focuses on toning and strengthening while also increasing flexibility. Active and rejuvenating!
Restorative Yoga- Designed to increase flexibility and manage injuries, this healing practice will submerge your body and mind in the art of moving meditation. You will develop a well-rounded practice and further your understanding of the mind/body connection.
Pilates- This class is focused on building strength without bulk, improving flexibility and agility, and helping to prevent injury. It involves a series of controlled movements that engage both your body and mind. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength and flexibility.
Zumba-“Ditch the workout, Join the Party” Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music / dance themes that create a dynamic and exciting, yet easy to follow, class! It combines high energy and motivating music with unique moves and combinations making for a “feel-happy” workout that is great for both the body and the mind!
Kickboxing- A cardiovascular workout that uses punches, kicks, and blocks to increase your heart rate. This fun, energizing class offers various levels to meet everyone's needs. Work on endurance, strength and coordination while burning tons of calories and learning the basics of boxing.
Stability and Core Conditioning- (fitness center location only) This class challenges core and stability muscles through the use of a BOSU, Stability Ball, & Medicine balls. Offers a challenging and invigorating workout - but you’ll have a blast! Great for athletes.
Indoor Cycling- (fitness center location only) The ultimate indoor cycling experience! Follow your instructor through a variety of drills such as intervals, speed, and hill climbing. This class is a great cardio workout and a lot of fun!
How to Create a Workout (lecture)- led by a personal trainer, learn how to create a weekly workout routine that can be done at any of our fitness facilities. A great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about exercise.
