Locker Information

UPDATES
Zesiger Center pool locker rooms are at near max capacity. Wait time for these lockers will be much longer than for DuPont locker rooms. We advise you to please choose a DuPont locker as your first preference at this time. Should more lockers in Zesiger Center open up, an update will be posted.

Locker Service is offered at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center-W35 (poolside), duPont Gymnasium- W32 and the Alumni Center- 57. In each locker room in addition to the rented lockers, there are lockers reserved for day use only. The Zesiger Center and duPont locker rooms run off a waitlist system. Please see information below to enter waitlist.

Rental Lockers

• Members may rent a locker for an annual or 6 month term. Only patrons with an annual or 6 month membership are eligible to rent a locker. All students are eligible to rent lockers.
• Lockers run concurrent with membership term.
• Lockers are rented through the locker waitlist for the Zesiger Center and duPont locker rooms (please see information below on how to enter waitlist)
• One lock will be provided at the time of rental. If lock is stolen or missing, the patron must replace the lock.
• Members will receive an email notification one month before a locker renewal deadline.
• Lockers not renewed by the given deadline will be emptied out and recycled into the waitlist.
• A $10 dollar cleaning and storage fee will be levied to reclaim bagged items.
• Items will be stored for 30 days and then donated to charity.
• MIT Recreational Sports is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
• Lockers are only renewable by the original locker holder

Pricing and Procedures
Locker rentals and renewals are handled at the Main Customer Service Desk in the Zesiger Center and the Alumni Pool & Wang Fitness Center.

• Day lockers are available in Alumni Pool and Wang Fitness Center, Zesiger Center, and du Pont locker rooms.
• All day lockers are full length. Half size and one third size lockers may not be used for day use.
• Patrons must provide their own lock for day use lockers. Locks may also be purchased at the Zesiger Center Pro Shop at the Main Desk.
• Personal locks left overnight will be removed and the belongings will be collected.v
• Owner may claim forgotten items at the main customer service desk of the facility in which the items were forgotten.
• A $5 cleaning and storage fee will be levied to reclaim bagged items.
• Items will be stored for 30 days and then donated to charity.
• MIT Recreational Sports is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Locker Waitlist
In order to acquire a rental locker in either Zesiger Center or DuPont Gym, you must enter the locker waitlist.
