Adult Skate – New to the Ice
Join our figure skating instructors for fun, weekly group lessons at MIT’s Johnson Ice Rink. This class is for adults who have never been on the ice before. In ‘New to the Ice’, skaters will learn how to safely fall and stand back up on the ice, three ways to forward skate, forward gliding, and be introduced to backward skating. Adult figure and hockey skates are available to borrow each session from the Rink office! Helmets are encouraged for this level (bike helmets work great).
