Sam Senghas
Sam Senghas grew up a Colonial from Acton-Boxborough Regional High School where he played Lacrosse and worked as a youth basketball coach. He graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science in Recreation Management. Prior to joining MIT, Sam worked as an Intern and Waterfront Director with Hudson Recreation, then joined Littleton Parks & Recreation as a Program Coordinator and Aquatics Director.
As Assistant Director of Aquatics- Event & Lifeguard Management, Sam helps coordinate Swim Club meets hosted by MIT, and works closely with MIT’s Varsity Swimming and Water Polo teams, as well as managing 25+ Lifeguards. Sam holds a Lifeguard & CPR/First Aid Instructor certification to help keep DAPER & Lifeguard’s Red Cross certifications up to date. He serves on the Recreation Ambassadors Committee, the Recreation Management Committee, as well as the Health & Safety Committee.
In his free time, he enjoys live music, white water kayaking, hiking and winning fantasy football. Additionally, he will not rest until he finds the best lobster rolls in Boston.
