|Assistant Director of Marketing & Communications

|Prerequisite||Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Graphic or Web Design, or related field plus three years’ experience or Master’s plus one year experience.|
|Description||Assist the Director of Marketing in the development and distribution of marketing collateral and information; development and implementation of all promotional programs, campaigns, and strategies; and the management of public relations and related systems. Also be responsible for preparing and maintaining timelines, budgets, the annual marketing plan, and other projects assigned.|
|Member Services Representative|
|Prerequisite||First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer , Blood Borne Pathogens|
|Description||Deliver professional and positive customer service at the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center and/or the Alumni Pool and Wang Fitness Center. Customer Service Representatives will assist with the daily organization, data entry and processing of membership files, manage the daily distribution, collection and cleaning of the towel service, register patrons for memberships, locker rentals, daily passes, and Fitness and Aquatic Programs.|
Asistant Director of Member Services, Personnel
|Prerequisite||American Red Cross certifications in: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, and Lifeguarding|
|Description||A high level of professionalism and expertise will be required of every lifeguard. In services and staff meetings are mandatory. Lifeguards will have the authority and responsibility to enforce all pool rules. Lifeguards will be trained to work in the Zesiger Sport and Fitness Center as well as at Alumni Pool.|
Assistant Aquatic Director
|Water Fitness Instructor|
|Prerequisite||Demonstrated ability in water fitness. Water fitness instructor certification preferred, however will train interested individuals who are not certified. CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid.|
|Description||This position requires the ability to instruct a variety of water aerobic classes as well as choreographing routines and coordinating music. The classes target the M.I.T. community. Shallow and Deep classes are taught.|
Assistant Fitness Director
|Health Fitness Specialist|
|Prerequisite||Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Strong knowledge of Fitness and fitness equipment.|
|Description||A high level of professionalism and customer service will be required. Responsibilities are to maintain the safety and well being of the Fitness Center, including patron questions and concerns, machine and equipment upkeep, proper machine instruction and assistance with any fitness programming in the Fitness Center and facility events.|
|Starting Pay||$10.00-$30.00/hour (Rate dependent upon on/off shift training and sessions purchased by patron)|
|Prerequisite||Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Current Personal Training certification with ACE, AFAA, NASM or NSCA.|
|Description||A high level of professionalism and knowledge of fitness programming will be required. Responsibilities are to conduct private or group personal training sessions. Applicants must be willing to assist with facility programs and events.|
|Water Safety Instructor and American Red Cross Instructors

|Starting Pay||$20.00-$30.00/hour (Rate dependent upon certification levels: WSI, LGI, WSIT, LGIT)|
|Prerequisite||Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification.
|Description||Responsible for instructing American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program and/or Health and Safety Classes. For all Water Safety Instructor wanting to work with the youth lesson program a required CORI/SORI background check will be performed prior to hiring. Applicants must possess the ability to teach multi-level classes of varying types. Applicants must be willing to assist with facility programs and events.|
