Fitness Center Orientation, FREE
A Fitness Center Orientation lasts approximately 30 minutes and presents an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the fitness center equipment and floor layout, policies and procedures of the Fitness Center, and a review of some of the best equipment needed to reach your personal fitness goals.
Fitness Assessment, Members: $20, Non-Members: $28
A fitness assessment presents an opportunity to gather information on your current fitness level in order to set appropriate training goals and measure your improvement in the future. An assessment lasts approximately 45 minutes and measures your resting heart rate & blood pressure, height & weight, skin fold for body composition*, VO2 sub max bike test or 3 min step test, flexibility & a strength test.
A fitness and aquatic assessment can be purchased together for $29, for Members and $45, for Non-Members
For all programs above:
*Please remember not to engage in strenuous activity or consume a large meal, alcohol, or caffeinated beverages in the 2 hours prior to the assessment. Please wear athletic footwear, shorts and a t-shirt during the assessment in order to complete body composition measurements.
**Complete registration materials at the Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center or Alumni Pool & Wang Fitness Center Member Services desk. You will then be contacted by a fitness representative to schedule your individual appointment.
