Holiday Cinnamon Overnight Oats!

Recipe: Holiday Cinnamon Overnight Oats  

Let’s bring the holiday spirit to breakfast! Not only are overnight oats delicious but they are also a quick and easy breakfast for on the go. You can really customize your oats to create your new favorite breakfast! We decided to create a holiday in a cup for our recipe which includes cinnamon and apples! Cinnamon has so many health benefits such as:

  • Full of antioxidants
  • Lowers blood sugar
  • Anti-Inflammatory Properties

Recipe:

  • ½ cup milk 
  • ½ cup diced apple 
  • a small squeeze of lemon (to keep the apples fresh overnight) 
  •  1 teaspoon cinnamon 
  • 1 tablespoon granola 
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup  

Mix together and let soak overnight. In the morning, add any additional fruit, drizzle with maple syrup. Enjoy!
